One of the first things you'll notice when you drive into Havana, the capital of Cuba... is, of course, the colorful vintage cars lining the streets.

And these retro cars are as symbolic for Cubans as, for example, Ararat is for Armenians.

Cuba is adorned with these vintage cars due to Fidel Castro's ban on the import of foreign cars.

As a result, local residents have been using and repairing their old cars for years.
