Milan Gothic Temple

There are many attractions in the world that are considered the eighth wonder of the world. The Gothic Cathedral of Milan (Duomo di Milano), in its beauty, is charming with its rows.
This gigantic structure is located in Italy, in the administrative center of the Milan-Lombardy region. The idea of building the temple belonged to Simone de Orsenigon, and the construction initiative was carried out by Antonio. The temple is dedicated to Santa Maria Nacenti.
Work began in 1386. First of all, 3 main buildings were built: the Archbishop's Palace, St. Stephen's Palace. The temple was designed to build a cathedral in the shape of a Latin cross. During the construction of the temple, the Gothic style is intertwined with notes of temporary exchange. More than 180 architects, sculptors and artists took part in the construction.
Further work was delayed and financial problems arose. It is said that specially selected girls dressed in white dresses toured the streets of Milan to raise funds for the cathedral. On May 20, 1805, Napoleon Bonciani ordered Carlo Pelician to complete the construction of the cathedral, and finally, in 1813, the cathedral was completely built. It is now the seat of the Roseria Milano.
The temple has a height of 106.5 m and is ready to accommodate 40,000 people at a time. Inside the building there is a golden statue of the Madonna “Patroness of Milan”, which is the main symbol of the cathedral. The temple has many marble ridges connected to each other by a support network. The temple is the 4th in the world and the 3rd in Europe. It has all its splendor, the right to be considered the 8th wonder of the world.
