The country of Finland is located in Northern Europe, on the eastern border of the Scandinavian Peninsula, and the territory is dominated by metamorphic rock complexes and Precambrian granitoids covered by anthropogenic glacial deposits.

Starting in 2014, Finland has become of interest to tourists from Asian countries, in particular, a large influx was recorded from Japan, China and South Korea. As a tourist country, Finland has its own characteristics: Baltic beaches, cold and fresh northern air, polar traditions and a wonderful nightlife. According to 2014 data, the largest number of tourists visiting Finland (more than 615 thousand people) belongs to the Russian Federation. According to this indicator, Finland's Scandinavian neighbor Sweden is in second place (about 300 thousand), and Germany is in third (248 thousand). A large number of tourists also travel to Finland from Great Britain, the USA, Estonia, France, Norway, the Netherlands, Latvia and other countries.
