Al Khan Beach, stretching 600 meters along the Persian Gulf, is popular among holidaymakers on the west coast. There are changing rooms, showers, sun loungers, umbrellas, water sports equipment, and children's playgrounds. Entry is free for tourists staying in hotels in Sharjah.
On the east coast, the beaches of Khorfakkan are worth paying attention to. There is also an artificial waterfall and an atmospheric traditional market.
