You can learn about the region's history at the Heritage Museum or the Museum of Islamic Civilization, while the Classic Car Museum displays rare vintage cars.
The House of Wisdom, located in the modern Foster&Partners building, contains books that can be read in comfortable, bright rooms. There is also a nice cafe with excellent tiramisu and non-alcoholic Aperol.
