Among the beaches of Kefalonia, it is difficult to give preference to just one, because each corner of the island has its own unique and enchanting atmosphere. But there are several world-famous beaches that visitors to the island try to visit first.
Month. In the village of Svoronata there is a small quiet beach covered with fine golden sand. A nice bonus, it's close to the airport.
Antisamos. The beach is located in a bay near the town of Sami, not far from the main port and is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful not only in Kefalonia, but throughout Greece. Makris Yialos. This beach is known for the best infrastructure on the island; there are cafes, canteens and restaurants, you can rent umbrellas, sun loungers and all the necessary equipment for relaxing on the water. Platys Gialos. This beach is part of the same coastline as Makris Gialos and is also well maintained and awarded the Blue Flag. But it is Platis Gialos that tourists call the Greek Riviera. Pine trees, flowers and other green areas make up the special charm and charm of this part of the coast.
Myrtle. A large number of tourists come to the island. Kefalonia is an opportunity to see the world famous Myrtos Beach. It looks especially impressive from the heights of the surrounding rocks; a layer of snow-white sand with an approaching azure wave beckons you to go down the mountain snake and relax on the seashore.
