Although Abu Dhabi focuses on cultural recreation, this does not mean that relaxation here involves only lying on the beach. There is also entertainment in Abu Dhabi, and almost all of them are conveniently collected in one place - on Yas Island.
It's home to the Yas Marina Circuit, home to Formula 1 racing (you can drive here, by the way), UFC fights and other international competitions, and Yas Island is home. The three most famous amusement parks: Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. Studios and Ferrari World.
Yas Island is also convenient because it is very close to the airport, the transfer takes about 15 minutes, so it is often chosen as a holiday destination for families with children. However, companies that come for a party usually settle here as well.
In fact, Yas is a state within a state where there is absolutely everything: public beaches (Yas Beach), a shopping center (Yas Mall), amusement parks with attractions, many of which are included in various record books as the fastest, hottest, etc. etc. There are also clubs, restaurants and even their own free buses. In other words, if you live in Yas, you don't need to spend any money on public transport or taxis at all.
You can get around Yas using special Yas Express shuttles. They run strictly on schedule and pass by all the attractions of the island (parks, hotels, shopping centers, beaches, golf clubs, etc.), and there is also a route that will take you to Dubai.
