Regular check-in at the airport

You decide to use the traditional check-in form upon arrival at the airport. Check-in typically opens three hours before departure and closes 50 minutes before scheduled departure. Pioneers should arrive 2-3 hours early to avoid noise, bustle, anxiety, confusion and excitement. Departure and arrival times are always indicated on local air tickets only. This should be kept in mind when preparing for your trip. Otherwise, you may miss your flight or even ruin your trip.
Check-in at the airport as usual, in line
When entering the airport you need to go through a metal detector gate, your luggage will be scanned on a self-propelled belt, it's fast. Inside the airport there is a board (information monitor) with departures. In English it is written Departures - Departures. In the printout of the electronic ticket we find the flight number (for example, UN777), the destination city and on board our flight. We check the direction again and remember the number of the check-in counter where the ticket will be exchanged for a boarding pass, which is a plane ticket. Please note: if you arrive too early, your flight may not yet appear on the board.
When approaching the check-in counter, you present your passport, ticket and voice your wishes regarding boarding the plane (in the aisle, near the emergency exit, near the window, etc.). Taking into account your wishes and capabilities, a coupon with a place will be provided. They will then weigh and accept your luggage. Both luggage and ticket will be marked with a number. Make sure your baggage is tagged with your name and flight number, as well as the baggage claim location on your ticket.
Your boarding pass contains important information: departure date and time, flight number, boarding time, gate number and, most importantly, your seat number. The boarding time will be repeated several times over the airport loudspeaker. Loud and clear every 10-15 minutes. You can relax and stroll around the hall, buy souvenirs and wait for the boarding announcement. After the announcement, you should go to the gate indicated on your boarding pass and present this pass to the security guard on duty. All you need is your boarding pass and perhaps your passport. Airports with heavy traffic sometimes do not announce the start of boarding. Therefore, you should always remember the landing time and independently approach the desired exit (Gate) at the specified time. Boarding the plane occurs either by bus or through a special accordion connecting the plane to the terminal building.
After landing at the airport, you go through the same procedures as when landing. First Passport Control: The border guard will check your passport, boarding pass, visa or entry permit. Then you take your luggage and go through customs. If your luggage is missing or damaged, you should contact an airport employee (Lost and Found).
