City of Bologna, Italy

Another city on the Apennine Peninsula is famous for its leaning towers. In the 13th century there were about 200 “skyscrapers”, each rich family built a tower, the higher the higher the prestige. Today, about 20 such attractions have survived. Tourists can climb Garisenda and Assinelli and feel the coolness of freedom. The rooftops above offer views of the red carpet, which is why the “city of towers” is called “Red Bologna”.
This city fascinates with its ancient beauty. The oldest university in Europe is located here. This city inspires young people. About half a million Bologna residents are students.
