Ureki is a seaside resort. Winters here are mild (average temperature 5.8°C), summers are hot (average temperature 22.6°C). The annual precipitation reaches 2080 mm.
Beach sand contains magnet and other metals. They are the result of the erosion activity of the Supsa River. The length of the magnetic coast reaches 1.5 km, width 60-80 m.
