Some facts about Cyprus

Airports. Both Larnaca and Paphos have airports. The airports are small, but Larnaca Airport is considered large and has heavy traffic during the very high season.
Weather in Cyprus – Cyprus is located in the southeast of the Mediterranean Sea. Summer is hot, there is almost no rain. Winters are mild. Spring and autumn were the best seasons, and the island was at its most beautiful in spring.
Where to stop depends on what you want to let go of. There is a hotel not far from the airport in Larnaca, but if you want a special touch, it is better to stay in the city itself, where there are many hotels and apartment hotels. Larnaca has a great beach and is much quieter than other popular tourist destinations.
In Paphos, tourists notice the town of Kato Paphos, located in the area adjacent to the port, but there are also tourist spots in the north of the city (for example, Coral Bay). Paphos and the southwestern part of the island have more historical sites to offer. There are more tourists here than in Larnaca.
Limassol is the second largest city in Cyprus. It is the main port island, the main tourist center and the center of the wine islands. Limassol is home to two of the most impressive archaeological sites in Cyprus: the ancient cities of Amathus and Kourion, perched on clifftops to the east and west, with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The largest stone vase ever found (located in the Louvre in Paris) was discovered in Amathus and is one of the finds that has found its way into foreign museums.
Ayia Napa and Tsenu Bay are purely tourist destinations with only 1000-2000 local residents. This is a place where you simply enjoy the sun, pool and beaches, during the day, or at night - discos and parties.
