Place de Solidarity is one of the most famous squares in Paris. It has a regular octagonal shape, in each corner there are statues symbolizing 8 famous French cities (Brest, Lyon, Bordeaux, Lille, Marseille, Rouen and Strasbourg), and in the center there is an Egyptian cross.
