Cesky Krumlov is the capital of the South Bohemian region of the Czech Republic. It is famous for its 18th-century architectural complexes, the most important of which is the Church of St. Vitus with its beautiful frescoes. In the 14th century, construction of a stone temple began on the site of the wooden temple. The historical center of the city is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. The main square of the city is the old Town Hall. Cesky Krumlov Castle is located on a rocky outcrop in the center of the city and was built in the first half of the 13th century.
