Visitors interested in plants will naturally head to the Botanical Garden and Flora. However, even those without a green thumb can appreciate a stroll through Cologne's oldest and most revered park. The botanical garden was created in 1920, combining the former special complexes of the botanical garden and flora. Today, more than 10,000 plant species can be found in the park, scattered across different habitats such as greenhouses, exotic gardens and rainforests. Following a recent renovation, the old Flora building is now a luxurious event space.
