Ruaha National Park, Tanzania

Ruaha National Park was Tanzania's largest national park until the Selous Game Reserve became the Julius Nyerere National Park.
It is an area of great natural beauty, with excellent viewpoints to observe wildlife in their natural habitat.
Ruaha National Park is one of Tanzania's more challenging national parks, but that only adds to its beauty.
Guided visits are possible if you go with a guide who knows the way, and this is often a good idea as Ruaha National Park is in a very remote area.
