Nyerere National Park, Tanzania

Nyerere National Park, formerly known as the Selous Game Reserve, was the largest game reserve in Africa, covering about 5% of Tanzania.
It has been a game reserve since the 1920s, and there are still closed areas in the reserve where people cannot go. Of course, it is now a national park, not a game reserve.
Nyerere National Park is home to over 350 recorded species and is truly beautiful. It is worth setting aside a day during your holiday to explore the area.
