Legend of the Deer
A statue of a deer can be seen on the top of a nearby mountain. The deer is also depicted on the label of bottles of Jermuk mineral water. Having managed to escape, the deer reaches the mineral waters of the thermok and, completely exhausted, throws itself into the water. A few moments later, the deer emerges completely healthy. News of the miraculous healing quickly spread, and the deer became the symbol of Jermuk.
