Georgia (Georgia – Sakartvelo) is a country in the South Caucasus, bordering Russia to the north, Turkey and Armenia to the south, Azerbaijan to the east and washed by the Black Sea to the west.

Tbilisi – the capital of Georgia is known for its narrow streets, ancient fortresses and hot springs. Visit the Narikala Fortress, Shardeni Street and the Tsitsminda Sameba Temple.
Mtskheta is the ancient capital and spiritual center of Georgia, famous for its Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.
Kakheti – the birthplace of wine. Here you can visit Sighnaghi, the “city of love,” and taste local wines.
Batumi is a Black Sea resort with modern buildings, a beautiful boulevard, and a vibrant nightlife.
Kazbegi is a great place for nature lovers with the Gergeti Trinity Church and Mount Kazbek.
Ushguli is a village in Svaneti, one of the highest inhabited areas in Europe.
National cuisine
Khinkali is a delicious dish stuffed with meat or cheese.
Khachapuri is a cheese bread, the most famous types are Adjarian (open, with egg) and Imeretian (closed).

Georgians are known for their hospitality. They attach great importance to the supra (hospitality table), where the toastmaster, the one who makes the toast, is given a special place.
