Chile is considered one of the most interesting countries in the world. A thousand-year history, beautiful landscapes, majestic mountains and untouched valleys, colorful local population and a rapidly developing economy are considered the main criteria for traveling to this country. Population
The majority of the population are Chileans, 70% of whom are mestizos, 25% are descendants of European immigrants, 5% are Indians. Among the descendants of European immigrants, Italians and Spaniards predominate, as well as Germans, English, Yugoslavs, Austrians and French.

Language
The official language of Chile is Spanish. However, the Spanish spoken here is very different from traditional Spanish. It includes English, German, Italian and Hindi words and phrases. This language is more widespread than traditional Spanish.

Religion
80% of the population are Catholics, 13% are Protestants. The church is separate from the state, but is highly respected and honored in the political arena.

A number of dishes are widespread, including the famous Russian pancakes with butter, pies, porridge, corn pancakes, but the most delicious are considered to be seafood dishes.

Climate
Chile is located in different climate zones. Since the country is located in the Southern Hemisphere, the seasons here are in the opposite order to those in the Northern Hemisphere. Summer months are December, January and February, and winter months are June, July and August.

Transportation
Public transport consists of intercity and intercity buses. Taxis are common, they are easily recognized by their yellow and black colors. Each vehicle has a registration number and a meter. Drivers are known for their friendly and polite attitude. Smoking is prohibited on public transport.
