Iran, "Pink Mosque"

Iran,

The Pink Mosque, also known as Nasir ol Molk Mosque, is located in Shiraz, Iran. It is called the "Pink Mosque" because of the pink and multi-colored stained glass windows inside. When the morning sun shines inside, it creates an amazing color effect inside, illuminating the entire hall with bright and vibrant colors, especially pink.
This mosque is considered one of the most beautiful religious buildings in Iran due to its exquisite carvings, floral patterns, and magnificent stained glass windows.
Nasir ol Molk Mosque is named after Mirza Hasan Ali Nasir ol Molk, one of the influential figures of the Iranian Qajar dynasty, who financed the construction of the mosque. The mosque was built between 1876 and 1888 and is still considered one of the masterpieces of Persian architecture.
The Nasir ol Molk Mosque is also known as the Pink Mosque because its interior is dominated by pink tiles and stained glass windows that create unique lighting effects when exposed to sunlight.
