All deserts have a mysterious, magical appeal, and even more so the world's largest Sahara (it was formed 6,000 years ago). Here the sand is like sifted flour, which sparkles as if gold dust was mixed into it. The indigenous Berbers live in desert caves that are cool enough to freeze and have natural air conditioning. There are snail tracks on the sand hills which indicate that they were once covered with water.
Many famous films were filmed in the Tunisian desert, such as the Star Wars series, the sets of which have been preserved. Camel rides, ATV rides, crazy jeep safaris leave an extraordinary impression, and the natural oases of the desert seem unreal, like a vision...
Desert cities are very colorful, beautiful, each has its own style, and each door is a work of art. Tunisians pay great attention to the appearance of doors; this is a unique sign of hospitality.
Life in the desert is varied and very interesting, and has a certain mystical nature.
