Fried

There is not a single holiday in Armenia where Armenian shashlik is not served. In addition to the fact that Armenian shashlik tastes different from any other shashlik, it is also considered an Armenian heritage.

Tolma

Tolma consists of meat, rice, and onions wrapped in grape leaves. This Armenian dish is often served with yogurt and garlic. This type of tolma is also an Armenian heritage.

Armenian Lavash

Lavash is considered the most common type of bread in Armenia. Lavash is an unleavened thin bread made from wheat flour, baked in the oven and called "Armenian crumbly bread" in English-language sources. Harissa

Zingyal bread

A donut with a filling of different types of edible greens. Jingyalov bread can be found in all corners of Armenia, but it has Artsakh roots.

Thick

The most famous Armenian dish, eaten early in the morning. It is made from beef cutlets, served with dry lavash, salt, garlic and vodka. Gathering around the khashi table is a well-known Armenian tradition.

Gata

Let's move on to desserts. Gata is an Armenian pie. It has different shapes and sizes. Gata is considered the number one brand that almost all tourists love in Armenia.

Sweet sujukh

This Armenian dessert decorates all the markets of Armenia. It is a very tasty dessert made from walnuts and grape syrup.

Baklava

And finally, baklava. This multi-layered cake with crushed walnuts and lots of honey will really sweeten your life.
