Many consider Egyptian cuisine to be heavy, but also very original, so not all tourists are happy with it. Traditional Egyptian dishes consist of vegetables and rice, with salt, pepper, onions and garlic, as well as aromatic herbs - cumin, dill and mint.
Without a knife and fork
Egyptian bread is present on every table. Egyptians wrap flat pieces of bread like "cat ears", so they do not need a knife and fork unless they eat soup.
